Beverley lkier established the Ikier Wellness Center, which takes a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to help clients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions to improve their quality of life. Her clients are encouraged to expand their vision for their wellness and work toward
reaching specific milestones.
Ikier uses a combination of many therapeutic exercise and massage techniques that she has studied and developed over many years of practice. Included are integrated health modalities for restoring function in activities of daily life and improving athletic performance.
Ikier received her RN at McGill University and Royal Victoria Hospital in Canada. After graduating, she spent two years in post-graduate studies at the Montreal Neurological Institute and the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in London, England. Her nursing background gives her experience in the medical field and an expanded perspective on her practice.
Ikier’s massage background comes from her 20 years as a nationally Board-Certified Muscular Therapist and Bodyworker (BCTMB) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She is involved in continuing education on injury and illness treatment. She is also a certified personal trainer (CPT) and trained with Dr. Miriam Nelson, author of Strong Women Stay Young. Her training has allowed her to become an educator on osteoporosis and strengthening bones, leading her to create the novel Osteofitness™ program.
Each client is on their own journey to wellness and Ikier is invested in seeing you reach your health-goals!
